National Sports Tribunal

I am honoured to have been appointed by Senator the Hon. Richard Colbeck, the Federal Minister for Youth and Sport as one of the inaugural members (part-time) of the National Sports Tribunal which commenced operations on 19 March 2020. It aims to provide for ‘… an effective, efficient, independent, transparent and specialist tribunal for the fair hearing and resolution of sporting disputes’ for the Australian sporting community. It provides an opt-in system of resolution of certain sports and sports-related disputes by arbitration, mediation, conciliation and case appraisal.
